Hello World! I’m Synnaulaid — though you can call me Syn. Some people jokingly call me “the Pathetic Man who lives surrounded by screens and lines of code.”

Building a personal website had been on my mind for years, but I kept delaying it.

Recently, I decided to just start.

In this post, I want to share how I created my personal website for free using GitHub Pages.

The process is actually simple. First, create a GitHub account. Then create a new repository and upload your website files. After that, enable GitHub Pages in the settings.

Within seconds, your website will be live.

That’s exactly how I built my own personal page. It’s still simple, but it works and it’s a real starting point.

If you want to see the full step-by-step guide along with my experience, you can read it here

This is just the beginning of my journey building in public.
